I must tell you, I absolutely LOVE the lights on my bike. I have a 2008 Heritage Softail Classic, Red that I put the blue boogey lights on the engine, ground and both saddle bags. It LOOKS AWSOME! Thanks so much for your quick customer service and getting them to me before my brother left. He was only at my home on vacation for a week and that's when I needed to get the lights mounted. He too ordered more lights for his and his wife's bikes.
Thanks again.

I just wanted to start off by expressing my gratitude for your shipping department to correct my poorly put together order. I was just off a 16 hour shift and completely messed up the order by giving the wrong credit card number and providing the state as Maine instead of Massachusetts. A quick call to your shipping department straightened it out and my order was on the way.

I originally had ordered a blue Harley pod light kit from my local HD dealer but they kept back ordering the kit on me. After getting tired of waiting I did some research on the web and found Boogey Lights. I was impressed with your web site and your products. Your Ultimate Led engine kit and instructional videos blew me away. It was about $60 more then the Harley kit but you get what you pay for with Boogey Lights. (more lights and better system that maximizes the lights capabilities).

After my kit arrived I swear the UPS truck wasn't even out of my drive way and I had the box open and was ready too get started. I watched the Video on line about 4 times and was ready to go. The only problem I had was when I was installing the 6 light set in the horn bell housing. Whiling trying to form the strip to the shape of the housing I broke one the resisters causing only three lights to light up. So I had to sacrifice the 6 light set that was meant to go under the seat frame over the starter.

My friends have the HARLEY POD KITS and they only come with 4 pods for about $139. For $199.00 and the free remote the Boogey lights are way far superior then the Harley kit.

When I finished the install and I turned the lights on I was blown away by the brightness and the look the blue lights gave my blue and gray 2005 Road King . (even missing the 6 light strip over the starter). I can only imagine that the effect would be even greater.

My friends feel like they where taken by the Harley Kits..I'm willing to bet you will be hearing from them soon. Oh by the way it was still light out when I first tried the lights out can't wait to cruise the strip in the dark.

Thanks Again

Thank you for your kind words! I've copied Peter on this reply as he deserves the credit. He processes the orders from start to finish. He'll be very happy to know about your satisfaction. I've also copied my husband (our webmaster), who will surely publish your email as a testimonial.

And because you took the time to write to us and tell us about this, I'll have Peter put a 6 LED strip in the mail for you Monday with some 3M primer so you can have the complete kit. I'll bet your buddies will envy you on your next bike ride!

Thank you for the email. In searching through the various companies
offering LED lights, I chose your site because of your online videos...I
watched them first, then decided that anyone who would provide that level of
support would be the one I select. The installation videos made the job an
easy one. The lights are in and they look great!

The only trouble I had was with the locking connectors. Even when I
stripped the wiring back to one inch they did not want to catch when
clipping the connector shut. They wouldn't work at all so I had to go
without them. I would have preferred using the locking connectors because
it is a better system. Perhaps I'll try a similar connector that is a
little bigger...or perhaps I will try your connectors again.

I would like to add on to my lighting sometime soon. I would like to light
up my wheels to add to the safety factor of being seen. Thanks again for a
great product. Have a great day.

I just got my shipment from you and your lights are TOO good J ….

Seriously … I already had a couple of cheap LEDs under the tail that were (supposedly) white … I liked the light they gave off, but wanted much more all over the bike. I ordered from you guys and just got the shipment. I hooked up a battery to one of your lights just to see what it looked like … and WOW … it's like a spotlight is under the tail. It's actually WAY too bright (I'm sure that's an odd complaint.)

What is your return policy? I couldn't find one anywhere. Do you have LEDs that are NOT so bright J … or do I need to consider using a color instead of white? HELP? I need some insight here

Thanks

Kirk,

I'm glad you're "sort of" happy with our products! Yes, our lights are the brightest on the market - no doubt about that! We don't have a return policy because we handle each one case by case. If you haven't installed any of the lights and the products are in perfect resellable condition, you can send them back for a full credit. Anything that I can't resell, I can't take back.

If you'd like to exchange them for colored lights, we can do that - just send back the lights and keep the wiring kit and we'll send you the lights in the color you want. You'll just have to pay for shipping.

Good Morning,

I have a 2000 Ultra Classic and I installed the blue Cut N Click lights on

installed the lights on there bikes. My son also installed the red lights
on his bike and when we installed them I couldn't believe how easy it was,
the hardest part was hiding the wires, I am alittle pickie when it comes to
my ride. I did have two of the strips that went bad but to my amazement,
you guys replaced them free of charge. We go to a bike show called Thunder
in the Valley, it is in Johnstown Pa, and I leave the lights on at night
and had alot of comments on how nice and bright they look. But the best
feature of it all is this, there have been alot of people in cars tell me
how far away they could see me coming with them on. Great product.

I got a brand new HD fxcwc Rocker, Vivid Black and with the purple Boogey Lights it looks GREAT.  I ordered a second set for my friends 'Mean Streak'. It's red so he got red lights , turned out great. I've only had them a few days now and everyone says how awesome they look. I will definitely tell everyone where to get theirs. I used part of my set to light up the rear wheel, now all I need is to do the front wheel to make it complete. I'll get that soon.

Spoke to a very nice young lady named Chandra on Wednesday. Asked some questions and thought about the product for a short while. Called her back and placed the order for the Ultimate kit. She was super kind and helpful in helpping determine the quickest and most econmical shipping. All of that on Wednesday. On Thursday, the package arrived forcing me to play hookie from work on Friday. That's today, and the attached picture is the end result. I'm the only one who has seen it in a darked out garage but absolutely cannot wait to show it off. I've seen you guys at many rallys and kind of put the idea of the lights in the back of my mind. I'm glad I took the plunge. All in all a very pleasant experience. Thanks.

I'll stop by in Myrtle to show it off and say hello.

By the way, the shirt you wear in the instructional videos, are they for sale?

Thanks again and please extend my thanks to Chandra.

Christine,

Thanks for your correspondence regarding my first purchase from Boogey Lights. My second purchase was placed today. All I have heard for the last few days is " when are you going to light up yours",etc.. etc... I have wanted to add engine lighting for a while, but the sources I found were more expensive than I expected (up to $500 for a standard light kit). The "do it yourself" videos and the easy to follow instructions your company provides to your customers, makes installation easy. I had no problems at all installing the TNT engine kit on my brother's H.D., and it looks SHARP! There are family members and friends I ride with, that I will forward your web site to, so they can see how easy, and economical your product line is. One again, thank you for your outstanding customer service and support. "Keep up the good work"

I was confused about the remote...I wasn't sure if I still needed the on/off switch...also, I didn't know how to wire the remote in...(after checking the website...I figured it out). Also, I purchased two five LED step lights for my front and rear tire...I ended up purchasing double sided tape and heat shrink to make it work...also, the wire wasn't long enough so I just pieced out some of the left over wires from my ultimate engine kit...after that...everything worked fine...and it looks really great...what a great idea...

This entire experience has been really cool for me...I learned a lot about myself and how I can work on my bike and learn how things work. I know once I start driving it around...people will be asking me where I got those lights...I will tell them...Boogey.com!!!

Thanks...Thad.

All colored lights are legal in PA.. I believe it is house bill 926. As for the other states, you'll have to check with local authorities there. Just be sure you're not riding with flashing lights - that will get you pulled over anywhere!!!

when I had a question for an install, one of the guys stopped his
install and took the time to talk with me and answer every question I
had, very professional team! About 8 months latter I purchased a
little over a hundred LE.D.'S for my chopper and they look great.
When ordering the lights, the people at customer service we very
helpful and had all of the answers for my questions. Without a doubt
I was very pleased. After the installation of all those lights, the
bike looks great, it brings out the bike in so many ways. If your
thinking of purchasing L.E.D. lights, BUY THEM FROM BOGGEY

professionals at what they do!! Trust me, their customer service team

Hi, again,

This is David writing back about my order. I purchased a TNT engine kit on last Thursday at about 1600 hours. I received the package today (Tuesday) and am impressed with what I found. The lights are even smaller than I imagined. This is perfect, as I need to fit them in some rather tight locations. I haven't opened them yet (waiting for a friend to come over for the install), but it appears that everything is there and in good shape. I am very, very impressed with the free t-shirt. It is freaking awesome!

Thanks again,

Hi CHRISTINE,

I just wanted to share what an unbelievable product you guys carry and sell [very reasonably,I might add] I have bought many systems of yours in the past one for my harley fatboy then one for my harley dynawide glide. I have sold both those bikes and recently purchased a 2004 big dog ridgeback chopper. I bought the cut-n-click engine kit then went back for more, not that It wasn't enough but because I want this bike to really turn heads, which it does I have included some picks of the bike with and with out the lights, thanks again you guys are awesome.your customer for life

Thank you so much.  I installed the LEDs last weekend. It took me all day to do this because I did some custom installs of the pods on my 1990 Goldwing. I can't tell you how happy I am with the brightness of these LEDs. I am now going to have to save up some money and get a few more pods later on.  Question: Is there a max number of pods that can be put on one unit?

I wanted to thank you guys again for a great product. I finally installed some grenade and TNT lights to offset the blue of the cut-n-click kit I installed earlier this year and it turned out awesome! I hope to enter some shows this year and hopefully the LEDs will help! I have attached some pics to show them off.

I had ordered several green and some purple from your site last year, and also turned a couple of friends on to your site. I was very impressed with the quality of your lights, I actually crashed the green bike (doing a wheelie, shhh) and all the lights STILL WORK!!. My new bike is a different color, so I gotta get new ones, but another buddy spend over $200 on LED's from some parts america or something, and three of his lights are already not working!. Your customer service when I had to call was great, and I'll never go elsewhere! you guys are great!

Hey Boogey Lights,

I'm interested in your TNT Series engine kit, but have two questions:

1.  My VTX1800 has Kuryakyn Radiator ChromeCovers that have an Amber running light on each side and Amber running light on the bottom... my question is which one do you think would most match the Amber color - your Amber lights (which can look yellow) or your Orange lights.  Recently at a motorcycle show here in Atlanta, the Amber looked real yellow and I wasn't sure if they would match the "running lights amber".

2.  Can you easily add more lights to the kit at a later time?

Your website was very helpful, and the videos were handy... I wish more merchants would create sites like yours. Thanks, and I look forward to ordering my lights from you....

Michael,

Thank you for the kind words!  We'll post those on our website.

I don't know whose lights you saw in Atlanta but I can tell you that my Amber lights are turn signal color.  As for the orange ones, they're pumpkin orange!  I usually try to steer people away from Amber LEDs to highlight your engine because it tends to make chrome look like gold plating.

You can always add lights to our system.  For your bike I'd recommend a Cut N Click kit - you could easily put a strip of 39 LEDs under each side of the tank and you'd have to order a Grenade in with a chrome case to put under your air intake (I assume is shaped like a "V"... you put the extra light right at the bottom of the "V" pointing down.

Hope this helps and that we'll see your order soon!

Hi Folks,

I don't know if you remember me or not.  My name is Dale Hudson and I ride a '99 Valkyrie Interstate.

A few months before 2006 Buckeye Rally, here in Ohio, I contacted you asking if you would be at the rally.  You then guided me to Gary Dunn of the Philadelphia area and explained he would be representing you at the rally.  You then furnished his number and web site for me to contact him.

After contacting Gary, we had several phone and email conversations with idea sharing for my Valkyrie.  We finally decided on some ideas and made arrangements to meet at the rally.

Arriving Saturday morning early, I went immediately to where he was setting up.  He immediately started on my bike even though he was not set up completely. (He left his wife and friends go from there)

It was just hotter than the hubs of h___ that day but he did not stop.  He worked the entire day and the following day just as hot, to get me finished before the "Parade of Lights" that next evening.  He did some 124 leds, had them all working, installed a headlight modulator, a tail light modulator, a burned out headlight(just happened that way) and sent me on my way.

I felt badly because other than a couple of incidentals, I was his only customer for the rally.  Until it was done my way, he stayed right at it.

I went to the Parade of Lights and found that one side of the tank lights was not working and I certainly would not know why at that time of night.

I went to their set up and they had already left.  I then called Gary on his cell and he said he would meet me at breakfast the next morn to see if he could help.  Next day we met and it took him about 15 minutes to get me happy again.

All in all, Gary and Barb Dunn dedicated the Buckeye Rally to one very happy customer.  I have spread the work to everyone I know about how happy I am.  I even wanted to put an additional 18 leds on the "Lady Dragon" and Gary sent them through the mail and gave me instructions.

He has featured my bike on his web page and as I hear, you are receiving a picture of it.  I am so proud of the way it turned out.  I give Gary and Barb the credit, but when they all look at it, I get the joy.  They are a credit to you and to Boogey Lights.

As an after thought, I ran into Gary and Barb at Wing Ding 2006.  They are just as nice when they are not working as when they are.  Proud to call them friends.

Enough rambling, Just wanted to share.

As usual,

Dale

I recently called because one of the L.E.D. lights went out on the skull horn cover I purchased from your vendor @ Laconia. I have to applaude your people on your professionalism and courtiousness.  You guys are what other companys and vendors should be.

My horn didn't work after the install of the horn cover and the installer worked on that thing till he was drippin with sweat.  The mgr/owner told me to get a new horn and he would reimburse me.  Turns out the problem is not with the install but with '05 Harley horns!  Seems like there isn't enough voltage running to the horns from the switch.

Anywho ... enclosed is the defective L.E.D.  It was red.

I'm a satisfied customer andI just want to emphasize that you can make a bike safer for day and night use with enhanced and creative lighting. I have a Suzuki burgman 400. It has better than average lighting with dual high / low headlights, dual tail lights and bright turn signals. Well I wanted to make it better. All of my additional lights went on the mirrors. I put two amber sticks on the side of the mirrors facing back and two grenades facing forward. These are visible even during the day but are of course even more visible as it gets darker. I then put two red sticks facing rearward and two white grenades facing forward that are on constantly. The reds are very bright and can be seen well during the day. The whites are visible too but
because of the near sunlight color temperature, they don't stand out in bright sun as well as a color might. I did not want to use amber because I want my turn signals to stand out when flashing and not get confused with a constant on light of the same color.

The purpose of the "constant on" reds and whites on the mirrors, are to make my bike appear at least twice as wide from the front and back. The reds are so bright that at night I had to mount them below the mirrors to keep the light from shining in my face. They light up my body and the bike. Being red they do not affect my night vision. The whites look like mini HIDs bulbs. I use the xenon head lights so they are already a relatively whiter color than halogen.. but are yellow compared to the white LEDs. They get noticed.... and that is the point of all this .... I'm more confident when in traffic that my mirrors are standing out at least a foot more laterally and more than a foot higher than my regular lights.I will tend to get "lost" between cars less.

All this was done on my bike for about $100. I just want people to think of the safety aspect of lighting as well as the fantastic colors you can project on the bike itself. I was pulled over by our local sheriff about a year ago for having two small blue LEDs projecting rearward. He was almost apologetic since he was a biker himself, but said only red and yellow can face rearward, and white and yellow forward.. I agree we don't want to make lighting confusing for other motorists even if an unusual color is more visible. I feel I've got a win/win situation here.. Whites and yellows forward and yellow and red rearward. I'm within the law and you can SEE my bike better ... day or night.... Thanks Boogey Lights! -  Thomas Gisler

On 6/19/06, Thomas Gisler wrote:

Hello.. just got your amber TNT sticks... I taped them to the sides of my mirrors. I replaced the old version that were three regular style LED's. The old ones were worthless in the day time and better than nothing at night. These new ones are as bright as my regular rear bulbs. The angle of view is great: Even from the sides ( at night) because they are flat and the acrylic housing reflects a little of their light. Great price, lots of light, very small, well made, just what I was looking for. Anyone wanting to add auxiliary lighting for turn signals, or break lights can not go wrong with these. I'm thinking about getting two more white for front visibility since the white LEDS are such a different light temperature than most white lights on the road.... and maybe even two or three hooked to the brake lights and attached to the back rest.

I just can't believe that in all the chaos and fatigue of packing up and getting home, you remembered we wanted those shirts. We will wear them on our lit up bikes during Biketoberfest and proudly be rolling billboards for you. You've turned two customers into fans.

Take care and say hi to the rest of the crew. Tell your brother-in-law we missed him and hope he's doing well.  See you guys in October for some more firecrackers.

Subject: I will be a future customer

Dear Christine & Scott,

I live in Palm Coast Florida, about 20 miles north of the Daytona Beach area. I am planning to come by to see your displays and meet you when you'll be at Bruce Rossmeyer's Daytona Harley-Davidson dealership during the famous Daytona Bike Week in March.

I'm saving my "project money" for your team to perform magic on my 2005 Yamaha Silverado (650cc). If Bruce's guys won't mind a non-Hog pulling in, I'd love to have you guys install a light package on my bike.

Your website is wonderful, the testimonials are great, and I already know that I'll be in good hands. I look forward to meeting you and the team, and I am even more excited with what you guys will recommend for my light drama!

Warm regards, -paul

Thanks for the great shopping experience. I received my purchase of the engine lights package and will be installing it shortly. I have purchased many custom motorcycle parts over the internet and none of them have compared to the service and follow-up I have received from your company. Keep up the good work, I will be referring you to all my friends who also build custom bikes.

Thank you for responding to my questions. I installed both sets today. One set on my wife's Harley and the other on mine. I must admit, I couldn't wait for the sun to set so I could see how good they look. I wasn't disappointed.... they look terrific. I will definitely recommend your "official" Boogey lights to all that ask. Thank you again.

Hi Christine,

I do a lot of online ordering and have received many different levels of service thru the years. I want to take the time to commend you and Boogey Lights in general for running a truly professional and customer biased organization.

I have just received my second order of 60 LEDs from you and on both orders I have been impressed with the speed of processing and delivery, the customer communication on order verification and shipping info, the quality and value of the product in general, and the follow up communication. You can see that I took advantage of the discount you offered within 30 days of my initial purchase. The product is high quality, complete with all materials and direction required for installation and makes an impressive presentation on my motorcycle. You and the company have been eagerly responsive on the two occasions when I have contacted you.

Please keep up the great work, I have already recommended you to my friends.

Sincerely,

Mike Topping

Howdy King Boogey and the boss, Christine (haha),
You betcha. I have now received all packages expected and all arrived in perfect condition.
If you packaged the original "Elephant" products like you did this last order then someone definitely broke into that package and removed the "Tusk" while damaging the "Wash". Anyway, all's well that ends well. Thanks for the pen, also. You guys do rule the night.
Best wishes and we'll have more in the future.
Reese
Reese, Thanks for taking the time to let us know that alls well. Our aim to make sure our customers get 100% satisfaction - even when UPS screws up! -Christine

Hi Team Boogey!!

I’m a computer professional and an avid rider. I say computer professional because I have to give every ounce of my being away in satisfying customers 24X7 that means, going beyond expectations to meet customer needs, no matter what it takes. As much as I give customer service; in today’s world, I hardly ever receive customer service. Therefore, when I get the service that I like I do give praise and thanks for the efforts in making me satisfied.

I ordered the Super Engine kit with the remote switch and had a couple of questions regarding the wiring. My emails and calls were answered quickly and professionally. Your team even emailed an additional schematic of the wiring and told me to call with any additional questions. I love the lights installed on my Fatboy!! I have a friend with the lights that “don’t have the Boogey” and you can certainly tell the difference in the night.

You guys are awesome; I recommend your products to all of my friends and admirers of the lights.

Thanks again!!
